Located at 943 E Ocean View Ave in the heart of the OV community is Our Peoples Soulful Seafood. The local spot, owned by husband and wife duo Carlos and Femi Lindsey, has been serving up fresh catches since April of 2018. The Lindsey’s are Norfolk natives, with Carlos serving as head chef. His solid culinary background, which includes the Culinary Institute of Virginia, helps curate the delicious menu.
While the specials are always changing, you can have full confidence that whatever catch of the day is being served is going to blow you out of the water. Specials range from crab cake, lobster and shrimp BLTs, to shrimp and chicken quesadillas, and blackened scallop, salmon, and shrimp with crabmeat pasta. Whatever the combo you’re craving, chances are it’s waiting for you here.

Our Peoples Soulful Seafood offers a wide range of fare, from comfort dishes such as shrimp and grits, to seafood platters to get the most variety and bang for your buck.
