Spring is finally here, and with it comes a fresh start, a new beginning, and a chance to bloom. The chill of winter is fading away, and the sun’s warmth is beginning to radiate through the city of Norfolk. It’s the perfect time to embrace the season of renewal and indulge in the vibrant culture of the city. One fantastic way to welcome the season is by attending Reaver Beach Brewing Company’s “Spring It On” event, the company’s first big market of the year.
This Saturday, the Reaver Beach Brewing Company’s parking lot will transform into a bustling marketplace, offering live music, mouth-watering food, and an array of local vendors. The sweet aroma of barbeque and the sound of live music will fill the air, as people of all ages and backgrounds gather to enjoy the festivities. The event promises to be a celebration of all things local, with no shortage of warm-weather-energy.
As attendees walk through the gates, they will be hit with the sound of music that will fill the air. The first act on the stage will be Black and Gold Music, a local duo whose soulful harmonies and catchy beats are sure to get the crowd grooving. Nate and EJ will be up next, and their funky sound is bound to have everyone dancing in no time.
Those looking for a bite to eat will be spoiled for choice at the food vendors. The smell of barbecue from Smoke n Grease BBQ will make mouths water, and their brisket promises to be juicy and tender. Flippin Hangry will be serving up their famous Filipino delights, including the crowd-pleasing lumpia. On top of Reaver Beach’s standard lineup of tasty craft beers, they’re releasing a new beer: the “Bartertown,” a Czech pilsner, so there’s plenty of beers to pair with your chow.
But it’s not just about the music and the food at “Spring It On”. The small business vendors are the main event, and the lineup is diverse and eclectic.
