2021 has been a whirlwind of a way to kick off the decade. Looking back at the year, most of us would’ve never guessed we’d be where we are today. Whether you’re celebrating an unexpected success or embarking on a fresh start, New Year’s Eve is the perfect time to let off some steam.
Downtown Norfolk hosts a myriad of NYE parties every year, and that hasn’t changed. Some folks are looking for a laid-back time and others a rager; whatever your style, there’s a little bit of everything downtown that night. But there’s no question that Waterside District is set to host the grandest New Year’s Eve affair in the 757. It will surely be the nexus of excitement for the whole 757 on New Year’s Eve.
Hundreds will be arriving to Waterside District in proper party attire ready to dance, eat, and toast the new year! Guests can float between participating bars and restaurants all night, enjoying several food action stations featuring tasty treats, Instagram- worthy photo opportunities, and entertainment by DJ Joe Fu, Snack Bar Jones, Drummer Boy, Julz Gatz, and Joe Gossman.
On the second floor, The Harbor Club will roll out the red carpet for Platinum ticket holders with additional party perks including early entry, as well as access to a VIP entrance, premium food stations, complimentary coat check, and some swanky party favors.
As we welcome in 2022, we will celebrate the big countdown moment with a balloon drop, confetti cannons, and champagne toast! If you’re looking to live it up large on the way into the new year, Waterside District will be the place to do it.
